The present Terms and Conditions govern the performance of training services given by Verizon FiOS. The Verizon FiOS Workshops (the "Workshops"), begin on January 1, 2013 and end on December 31, 2013 (the "Workshop Period").To register for the Workshops, complete the registration form available online at: www.verizon.com/fiosworkshops.

ELIGIBILITY: Open only to registered respondents who are legal residents of the States where the Workshops are located and who are 18 years of age or older and who meet Sponsor's participation requirements during the Workshop Period. Employees of Verizon ("Sponsor"), Marden-Kane, Inc., ("Administrator") and all their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, or promotion agencies involved with this program and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children and siblings and their respective spouses) and/or those living in the same household of such employees are ineligible. Respondents must meet participating requirements during the Workshop Period.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS/TRAINING SERVICES: Customers wishing to attend a Workshop must register online at: www.verizon.com/fiosworkshops. Preferred workshop date and time, First Name, Last Name, Address, State, Zip Code, email address, phone, Verizon customer number (if applicable), and age will be required for registration.

The nature and scope of the training services are outlined in the workshop description, the workshop contents may be subject to minor modifications without notice. The Workshops will be approximately one (1) hour in duration. Workshops will be closed once attendance capacity has been reached. Sponsor reserves the right to re-schedule or cancel any Workshop at short notice for any reason. Should the Workshop be terminated, for any reason, prior to the stated expiration date or time, notice will be sent to the email address provided by the customer at the time of his or her registration.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Neither Sponsor, Marden-Kane, Inc., nor their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, or Internet access providers, collectively ("Released Parties") are responsible for incorrect entry of information by participants in the Workshops; for technical malfunctions of any network or computer equipment software or any combination thereof or lost/delayed data transmission, or for Workshop responses that are incomplete, undecipherable, late, lost or misdirected that may result in attendee not being able to attend their choice of Workshop. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. Sponsor makes no guarantees or representation of any kind regarding training services to a Workshop attendee, expressed or implied, (including without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). Workshops are void in all other States, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and U.S. military bases outside the U.S., and wherever else prohibited or restricted by law. Any attempt by a respondent or any other individual to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Workshops is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Any participant information collected from the Workshops shall be used only in a manner consistent with the consent given by participants at the time of participation, and in accordance with Sponsor's Online Privacy Policy which can be found posted at http://www.22verizon.com/privacy. Sponsor is not responsible for human, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Terms & Conditions or in any promotion materials found in print or on any web site. Sponsor's decisions will be final in all matters relating to the Workshops.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Sponsor shall not be liable for any losses incurred as a consequence of act of God, riot, acts of war, natural disasters or other events for which it is not responsible (e.g. strikes, lock-outs, disruption of communications, actions by foreign or national governmental authorities). As a condition of participating, respondents agree: (a) to release the Released Parties, from any and all liability, loss or damage incurred with respect to participation in the Workshops; (b) and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages; (c) all causes of action arising out of or connected with the Workshops, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (d) any and all claims, judgments, and award shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys' fees and court costs. By participating, respondents agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Terms and Conditions, participant's rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Workshops, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of State of New York without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. By participating, respondents consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state and local courts located in the State of New York.
